Animaniacs ive always been a huge fan of the late, great W.M. D unlawfully-deceased (RIP) animator and producer of the popular Nickelodeon show. I remember watching The Simpsons during my parent’s kitchen break during childhood, and the late, great W.M. D was one of those kids who could be charming and endearing at the same time. It wasn’t until recently when i discovered his illustrious career as an animated director that i realized he might have been one of my favorite directors from an early age.
What was your Animated Director’s Mentality Like?
As a kid, I always loved animated shorts, and when I was in my 20s, I was an invaluable member of the shorts community. I was one of the first people to know that the then-nascent online television service, Netflix, was coming online, and one of the first things I began to realize was how important this type of media was to children. At the time, the only way you could watch TV was through the set-top boxes coming out of your house, and while Netflix was an excellent way to watch TV, there was also the potential for online delivery. My sense of humor, my guesswork, and my love for all things vintage were all honed and honing and honed and honed to a fine edge by the creators of the original animated shorts. So, in many ways, I think my Animated Director’s Mentality was very much like that of the creators of the original shorts, which is to say, I was very much into it and enjoyed it very much.
Why Animaniacs is The Best Show Of All Time
The great thing about animating for kids is you don’t have to fret about having too much time or motivation to do it. They are incredibly generous with their time, and they have a lot of energy to go with it. You don’t have to be a perfectionist or have a strict schedule to do it, because in fact, many kids just enjoy being around their friends and family. Learning how to code and do other unconventional jobs, while certainly not a quick fix for the soul, is a great way to spend your free time while still having time for education, friends, and family. As much as I love W.M.D., Animaniacs is the show that stands out to me as having the best storyline, most interesting characters, and most memorable memorable effects. Despite its short length, it is still a must-see for kids of all ages, and you will not be disappointed. The art style, the animation, the music, everything about it is timeless and awesome, and you will not be able to turn away from it.
How to Watch Animaniacs
First, make sure you are okay with VHS and cassette tapes, as these are more common back in the day. Next, check if there is a sufficient supply of MPEG-4 video and WMV in your region to stream the show. If not, you could always use your local copy shop to hook you up, but in most cases, you can get the show on iTunes. Once there, make sure you add the “application” option so that you have access to the full-blown video and photo management system. Once you add the show, you will need to make a name for yourself in the same way that W.M.D. has become synonymous with great animation. You can try creating transitions from scratch, or find a professional animator to create for you, but for the most part, you will want to make sure someone else does the work for you. For that reason, you should research local video and photo exchanges, and see what other viewers are doing. If you are on the East coast, chances are you will have some friends in the area who might be able to help. Apart from that, head to your local video store and try looking through the many options to see if they have any classics you might have missed. Ideally, you would like to purchase the complete collection of seasons 1-3 to match the game pieces. Once you have the collection, you can start building your own set-top box set, or create your own.
