What’s in the show this year?

There were a few highlights from last year’s jarred event. As expected, there were shows with pandas, Confessions of a Bengaluru City 1897, What the BFG, Maleficent, Cinderella, The Resignation of Madame Tussaud, Finding Dory, The Lion King, The Wishing Tree, and many, many more to choose from. As well as special event, interview and talk shows with actors such as Dhanush, Jai Dhanush, N cultures, and Raamendhan. But there were also many highlights that overshadowed the event.

Don’t forget to come back and Jar yourself

And what better way to enjoy the one-year anniversary than by being jarred?

Bollywood shows

Bollywood and Bengaluru are synonymous, even if you don’t know the name Thari. After all, this is where Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, and Aishwarya Rai are all from. In fact, Bengaluru is so much a part of Bollywood history, it’s practically written on the walls. It started with Bollywood’s first Indian film, The Way of All Flesh, which opened in Bengaluru in 1926. Then, in a stroke of luckily, Bengaluru would get its own feature film, Aishwarya’s Awakening, in 1957. Then, in a stroke of just seeing-and-not-knowing-what-happened-next, Bengaluru would get striptease and model exhibit in The American Century, a live-action film released in 1962.

Celebrate with a Marathi Party

Don’t forget to come back and Jar yourself in Mumbai, feel the vibrancy of the city, watch the world’s greatest comedian Ms. Birla, and mingle with your fellow yogis — you’re in store for a Marathi party. Yes, the city’s nightlife scene is second to none, and this is the perfect time to indulge in some fun and games. Just, don’t try to act like you don’t know what’s happening in the city — we’re the ones who are witnessing it, not you.

Play with your nails!

If you’re lucky enough to be in Bengaluru on the night of the one-year anniversary event, you’re in luck because that’s when our fantastic nail art artist Uttam Bhandari is proud to show you his work. Uttam has been creating nail art since 1998 and is the one and only person to have designs for all the nails on our website. If you haven’t seen Uttam’s work, you haven’t been well-traveled — check out his nails at his online gallery. This year’s event is no exception. Uttam’s nails are simply stunning.

The fireworks show

If you’re lucky enough to be in Bengaluru on the night of the one-year anniversary event, you’ll be witnessing a stunning event that’s sure to leave your eyes and taste buds Taran Murti, Diwali lights, and pandas for posterity. Yes, we know you’re celebrating the one-year anniversary, but we urge you to come back next year and try the new and improved Taran Murti, Diwali lights, and pandas. You won’t be able to turn this into a classy event, but it will be a memorable one.
